TERMS OF SERVICE
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of services provided by Nexus Nurse Consulting
(“Consultant”).

By engaging Consultant, the client (“Client”) agrees to the following:


1. PROFESSIONAL SCOPE
Consultant provides medical-legal case review, analysis, chronology preparation, and related clinical
consulting services.
Consultant does not provide medical, legal, financial, or therapeutic advice.

2. PAYMENT TERMS
All services must be paid for prior to the start of work.
Attorney case reviews require an upfront retainer.
Flat-fee services require full payment before work begins.

3. HOURLY BILLING
Hourly work is billed at $100–$185/hr and deducted from the retainer balance.

​

4. RECORD HANDLING
Client is responsible for providing complete, legible medical records.
Consultant does not alter, modify, or destroy records.

​

5. COMMUNICATION
Consultant may communicate through secure email, phone, or approved platforms.
Case updates will be provided upon reasonable request.

​

6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Consultant is not responsible for legal outcomes or decisions made by attorneys, courts, or agencies.

​

7. TERMINATION
Either party may terminate services.
Refunds for unused retainer funds may apply.

​

8. GOVERNING LAW
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.

PRIVACY POLICY

Nexus Nurse Consulting respects client confidentiality and follows healthcare-appropriate privacy practices.


1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We may collect:
• Names, emails, and professional information
• Case-related medical documents
• Attorney or agency contact information
• Payment information (processed securely through Stripe)

2. HOW INFORMATION IS USED
Information is used strictly for case review, communication, billing, and service delivery.

3. DATA STORAGE
Records may be stored using HIPAA-appropriate platforms such as Box, Citrix ShareFile, or secure email encryption.

4. INFORMATION SHARING
Consultant does not sell or share information with third parties.
Information is shared only with authorized attorneys, healthcare partners, or as required by law.

5. SECURITY
Consultant uses administrative, digital, and physical safeguards to protect client information.

​

6. CLIENT RIGHTS
Clients may request correction, updates, or deletion of non-record-related information.

7. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Consultant uses secure third-party vendors such as Stripe for payments.

Nexus Nurse Consulting does not provide legal advice. All legal decisions must be made by a licensed attorney.

2. NOT MEDICAL ADVICE
Although Consultant is a licensed Registered Nurse, services do not constitute medical care,
diagnosis, or treatment.

3. INFORMATION ACCURACY
Consultant bases findings on records provided. Incorrect or incomplete records may affect conclusions.

4. NO OUTCOME GUARANTEES
Consultant does not guarantee legal outcomes, settlement results, or court decisions.

5. PROFESSIONAL INDEPENDENCE
Consultant maintains objectivity and independence and does not alter medical records.

6. USE OF WORK PRODUCT
Reports and analyses are for informational and litigation-support purposes only.

7. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITY
Attorneys and clients are responsible for verifying conclusions and using provided materials
appropriately.
