Nexus Nurse Consulting is proudly led by Dr. Teruko Williams, DNP, MHA, RN, a highly experienced Registered Nurse with advanced expertise across multiple care environments. Dr. Williams has spent her career working in the complex realities of:
-Inpatient hospital care
-Case management & discharge planning
-Utilization review & level-of-care determinations
-Post-acute transitions and care continuity
-Nursing home and home health oversight
-Managed care and authorization processes
Dr Williams is a devoted wife and mother to a five year old fur baby named Yoda. She loves to spend time observing the beautiful details of nature. From the mountains to the shoreline is where she spends her time away from the hustle and bustle of life. She is also a singer, songwriter and poet. She uses her love for writing as a way to detail medical stories of those that are untold, unheard and under represented in the healthcare field.
